五倫・五常の徳
〇五常とは、人が常に守るべき5つの徳目
1:仁・・・慈愛・惻隠の心。他人を尊び愛情をもって接すること。
2:義・・・道理、正義。正しいことを行い、不正を憎む心。
3:礼・・・礼儀、礼節。社会秩序を重んじ、相手を敬う心。
4:智・・・知恵。物事の道理を理解し、正しい判断をすること。
5:信・・・信頼。言行一致で、嘘偽りのない忠実な誠の心
〇五輪とは、儒教における5つの基本的な人間関係を規律する徳目を表し、
1:君臣の義・・・ 君臣は、義を尊ぶ。
2:父子の親・・・ 父子は親を以て体に表す。
3:夫婦の別・・・ 夫婦は互いに役割を持ち尊ぶ。
4:長幼の序・・・ 先輩・後輩・兄弟は、慈愛を以て接し、尊敬の心で秩序を守る。
5:盟友の信・・・ 盟友(志を誓った友)は信じあう。
の徳目です。
袴の後ろ一本襞(ひだ)・・・二心のない誠の道。

1:忠・・・ 主君への忠義の心
2:孝・・・ 親、兄弟を大切にする心

The Five Ethics and Five Constant Virtues
〇The Five Constant Virtues are the five virtues that people should always abide by.
1: Jin...Love and compassion. Treating others with respect and affection.
2: Gi...Reason and justice. Doing what is right and hating injustice.
3: Rei...Courtesy and etiquette. Respecting social order and respecting others.
4: Chi...Wisdom. Understanding the principles of things and making correct decisions.
5: Shin...Trustworthiness. A faithful and honest heart of sincerity, with words and actions consistent throughout.
The five rings represent the five fundamental virtues governing human relationships in Confucianism:
1: Loyalty between Ruler and Subject... Rulers and subjects respect righteousness.
2: Parenthood between Father and Son... Father and son are represented by their parents.
3: Separation between Husband and Wife... Husbands and wives have roles and respect each other.
4: Order of Seniority... Seniors, juniors, and siblings should treat each other with love and respect, maintaining order.
5: Faith in Allies... Allies (friends who have pledged their will) should trust each other.
These are the virtues.
